Thiel Fellowship Launches Website Redesigned by Toi

The Thiel Fellowship, Peter Thiel’s countercultural higher education program, has redesigned and launched ThielFellowship.org. The Thiel Fellowship, which grants 20 select Fellows $100,000 to focus on their work, research, and self-education while outside of university, enlisted the expertise of full-service interactive agency, Toi, to be website partners. The website redesign included the development of a sleek user interface, a simplified content structure, and the addition of new and enhanced content. All of the changes were made in an effort to direct the attention of website visitors on the Fellows and their achievements. The website has also been developed to feature a responsive design, adapting its display for optimal viewing on any size/resolution screen.

“At the Thiel Fellowship we needed to work with a team that really understands our vision and mission, so they were able to help us express it fully through our website,” said Thiel Fellowship Program Director, Danielle Strachman. “Toi surpassed our expectations and was able to make a very engaging site that showcases the Fellowship.”

This website collaboration, between The Thiel Fellowship and Toi, is one that is ongoing in order to continuously provide website visitors, applicants, and current Fellows with the best possible online experience. David DeMember, Co-founder of Toi, managed the project and is thrilled with the response to the enhanced web and mobile interactions he has seen to date, KPI metrics are up across the board.
