Tenderhooks are packing their bags and heading for Wales.

The four-hour drive from Brighton, the bands base, will end up at the legendary Rockfield Studios located situated in the rolling farmland of Monmouthshire.

The band have been on tenterhooks because the second Covid lockdown threatened to cancel their three-day studio booking.

But it's go, go, go! The recording of album 8, called 'hooks!' will go ahead in ten days' time.
As with all bands Tenderhooks were not able to enjoy 2020 entertaining music festival crowds and hitting the road for their planned 2020 Vision UK tour.

Instead, their time was spent on forging 10 great new songs! As with their previous releases the new album will have an eclectic mix of genres to feast on.

One Million Miles, a slow burning rock anthem that explodes into a head banging finale! Agua Azul will be a South America style dance floor filler.

My Last Song harks back to the great American songbook. Travelling Underground and worthy sequel to the highly rated title track from their last album release.

The politically charged lyrics focusing this time on deforestation. All the songs are gems and the band are ready to follow in the footsteps of Oasis, Queen, Stone Roses, Black Sabbath, Coldplay and so many more and make a great album at Rockfield. Could this be their breakthrough?

There are so many great songs to listen to from their past 7 albums. The question is why Tenderhooks are not regarded by the music industry with greater respect.

Listen to 20-20 Vision. Soak up this brilliant, original piece of song writing and then explore so much more they have to offer.

Perhaps in 2021 Tenderhooks will achieve the recognition they deserve.
