Kariwala Industries Ltd., a global leader in the production of sustainable bags and garments, is proud to announce the continued success and expansion of its BKF (Bimla Kariwala Foundation) Scholarship Program. This initiative, which began in 2021, is dedicated to empowering young girls from economically disadvantaged families in communities surrounding the company’s operations by providing essential financial support to pursue their education.

Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, especially in regions where socio-economic barriers often prevent girls from completing their studies. The BKF Scholarship Program aims to bridge this gap by offering vital financial assistance to bright, deserving students, enabling them to pursue their academic ambitions without the weight of financial constraints.

Since its inception, the BKF Scholarship has grown steadily. Initially supporting 4 students, the program now funds the education of 16 girls, with new scholars being added each year. The scholarship is awarded based on merit, with a rigorous selection process that ensures fairness and transparency. In 2023 alone, the program received over 800 applications at Kariwala’s Falta facility and more than 900 from Kalyani.
