Steven Kemler Launches Stone Arch Group

Stone Arch Group, a family office backed private investment firm, was launched recently by Principal and Managing Director Steven Kemler. Stone Arch invests in residential real estate, tech-enabled businesses with “sticky” recurring revenue and traditional companies that can be restructured / tech-enabled to achieve rapid growth. The firm and its founder also provide meaningful support to non-profit initiatives focusing on climate change mitigation, rainforest protection, education, and children’s welfare.

As a closely held firm, Stone Arch is flexible and nimble in its approach and takes a longer-term view in its investments.  The firm provides ‘smart’ capital to help its partners build strong foundations, overcome challenges and refine their business models while still scaling rapidly.

In residential real estate, the firm looks for opportunities with fifty or more units in ‘non-prime’ locations.  With private companies, Stone Arch is focused on Series A and B investments and acquisitions and will consider seed rounds for businesses and platforms that have rapidly growing revenue and a proven market fit.
