SocialTalent Releases 2019 Global Recruitment Survey

Dublin, Ireland (PRUnderground) February 25, 2019

The world’s leading recruitment training solution SocialTalent has announced the release of their 2019 Global Recruitment Survey. This is the fourth consecutive annual survey from the training platform, providing essential insights into the outreach and hiring habits of recruiters, as well as the impact of these habits on the changing role of the recruiter.

“When carrying out this survey each year, we see how reality can differ from what is traditionally believed and published throughout the recruitment industry” says researcher and Global Recruitment Survey writer Annalena Morris. “This level of data collection from recruiters all around the world allows us to dig deeper into the way recruiters work, so we can turn anecdotal beliefs into fact or fiction”

The 2019 survey gathered over 1600 responses from 92 countries and surveyed a mixture of agency, in-house and third-party providers. The survey asked respondents to provide data relating to their day to day working lives, such as average requisition numbers, tenure, and means of sourcing candidates. The survey results provide insights related to the following areas of hiring;

  • Recruiter and hiring manager relationships

  • The growth of recruitment roles into Talent Advisors

  • Links between KPI success and recruiter relationships

  • The impact of emerging technologies on the role of the recruiter

  • How recruiters gain a competitive advantage

  • Areas of the recruitment funnel where recruiters take ownership
