Renowned Singer and Vocal Coach Dileesa Performed at 2021 Spin Awards

Acclaimed singer and vocal coach Dileesa performed her new single, “Abide,” at the artist showcase within this year’s Spin Awards.

bide, an acoustic gospel song about the joy of abiding in Christ, was co-written by Mia Deneen Smith and co-produced by Todrick Hunter. Accompanied by a string ensemble, it's a magical, inspiring song that brings a sense of comfort to its listeners, encouraging them to strengthen their faith.

bide became an instant fan favorite upon its late-September Spotify release, and fans were excited for Dileesa to sing it in front of a live audience.

Gospel Central Radio, a respected name in the Christian Gospel Music industry, hosted its inaugural artist showcase during the 5th Annual Spin Awards on October 21, with Dileesa as one of the performers. She performed alongside Keyondra Lockett, Monica Lisa Stevenson and other incredible artists.

Founded by Michael Stewart, Gospel Central Radio is a Stellar Award-nominated station that focuses on gospel entertainment. Their artist showcase on the Spin Awards brought a wonderful gospel experience to music lovers nationwide. Aside from the award show, there was a free two-day choir workshop and lots of music that celebrates the Christian faith.

The showcase happened on October 21 to 23 at the Embassy Suites in Duluth, Georgia, while the Spin Awards main ceremony was held on October 23 at the Sylvia Beard Theatre in Buford. Dilessa walked the red carpet and performed on October 21, Thursday.
