Pixel Union Announces Acquisition of Themezilla

Pixel Union, a leading design agency specializing in website templates and ecommerce solutions, today announced its acquisition of Themezilla, makers of some of the world’s most popular and well-loved WordPress themes and plugins.

As part of the agreement, Pixel Union will provide support for Themezilla’s highly regarded theme catalogue, which includes more than 25 premium WordPress themes, and will design and develop new WordPress themes under the Themezilla brand.

Pixel Union, which currently offers themes for WordPress, Shopify, Bigcommerce, and Tumblr, will announce its first major project for Themezilla in the coming weeks. Over the past two years, the agency has turned its focus to ecommerce, helping thousands of businesses across the world successfully start and grow their online stores.
