MarginPoint Releases New Version of Mobile Inventory Application with Improved Features and New Functionality

MarginPoint, a leading provider of field service management and mobile inventory management solutions for contractors, has announced its latest release of Mobile Inventory with performance improvements, features and functionality to enhance software efficiencies.

The new release includes improvements to the latest mobile application, including a new feature that enables users to transfer inventory, a feature previously only possible in the web-based user interface (Web UI). MarginPoint has also added a new integration called MarginPoint Integration Service (MIS) in this release, specifically for one of their top distributor partners. MIS will replace the previous integration service.

A new data synchronization method has been introduced to provide faster access to data and improved performance through automatic background synchronization. Other enhancements include the capability to renumber inventory items through the Web UI catalog, and the removal of the mobile timeout setting to prevent accidental timeout while the application is in use.
