Marcone Group Commercial Kitchen Division Appoints New Vice President of Manufacturer Partnerships

Marcone, a leading distributor of home appliance, HVAC, and plumbing repair parts and equipment across North America, announced today that Steve Otto has been appointed Vice President of Manufacturer Partnerships for the Marcone Group Commercial Kitchen division. In this newly created role, foodservice equipment industry veteran Otto will facilitate partnerships with the industry’s leading original equipment manufacturers, ensuring replacement parts are readily accessible to service companies in support of commercial foodservice operators throughout the country.

Otto’s decision to join Marcone follows a successful 30-year career at Darden Restaurants, where he most recently served as director, Capital Equipment and Strategic Sourcing. In that capacity, he worked collaboratively with manufacturers to ensure Darden locations had access to necessary equipment. He developed a reputation for being committed to the industry and was selected to join the National Restaurant Association’s Kitchen Innovations working group.
