Justice Gone touches on Veteran casualties of PTSD

War veterans account for 10-15% of the homeless in the United States. Over 30% of US veterans suffer from PTSD, with a suicide rate more than double the national average, while 300 are in death row following murder convictions. Justice Gone, a mystery/legal thriller by N. Lombardi Jr, has just been released by Roundfire Books. Inspired by a real incident in a small Californian town, the story is embedded with many of the stirring controversies in today’s cultural climate as well as offering a detailed look at the legal system. A controversial trial ensues, invoking the talents of an astute but blind lawyer, Nathaniel Bodine.
