FMS 2025 Calls For Lifetime Achievement Award Nominations And Timeline Contributions

FMS: the Future of Memory and Storage is now accepting nominations for its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award as well as contributions to its industry Timeline. FMS will be held Tuesday-Thursday, August 5-7, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.

The FMS Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates people who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and have thus had a major impact on the memory and storage industry. Since its inception in 2011, this award has honored 23 visionaries whose groundbreaking work has included one or more of the following:

  • Founding a leading memory or storage company
  • Driving the adoption of initiatives and/or standards in the memory and storage industries
  • Bringing memory or storage to a new application, including supplanting older technologies
  • Demonstrating exceptional leadership, including defining new architectures

Nominations for this distinguished industry recognition are being accepted through Friday, March 21. Full details about past recipients and the nomination process are available on the FMS website.

FMS is also seeking contributions to expand its comprehensive Timeline, which chronicles advances in memory and storage from the 1950s through today's cutting-edge 3D flash, high-bandwidth memory (HBM), key industry standards, and novel memory applications. The FMS Timeline on our website serves as a vital historical record of the industry's evolution. Researchers and industry professionals are invited to submit new entries highlighting significant products and innovations from both commercial and academic sectors by Friday, June 6 using the FMS Timeline Submission Form.
