Flower Flower from London-based highly-acclaimed pop icon Sasha Siem

Following being awarded a 'New Wave Artist Award' at the Fashion Media Awards and the success of her last single 'Betray You' (which was selected for Spotify's New Music Friday UK), as well as critical acclaim (from the likes of Clash, NME, The Quietus, Wonderland, Stereogum, Marie Claire, Noisey, Q magazine, Billboard, The Guardian and the Line of Best Fit), Sasha Siem is releasing Flower Flower - the focus track from her album wHOLeY.

Recorded in her Brooklyn apartment with producers Danton Supple (Coldplay, U2, Elbow, Kylie Minogue) and Julian Emery (Lissie, Nothing But Thieves, Gabrielle Aplin, Anne Marie), wHOLeY is an exploration of healing through trauma and a heroic reminder that we are whole no matter what we've been through. Flower Flower is a celebration of life, of going our own pace, and our power to create space for pleasure in our lives.

Following studies in music at Cambridge University and a PhD from Harvard University, Sasha began writing for the likes of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Opera House. After being awarded a British Composer Award, Sasha released two experimental albums (Most of the Boys, Bird Burning) recorded with producer Valgeir Sigurðsson (Björk, Feist, Sigur Rós, Ben Frost), in The Greenhouse Studios in Iceland to critical acclaim: "'Scandinavia regularly yields musicians of extraordinary talent, but Sasha Siem’s startling ambition stands head and shoulders above the rest." (Line of Best Fit).Thanks to her exploration of the science of sound and the medicinal power of music wHOLeY is recorded at 432hz and is imbued with binaural beats and various healing frequencies to assist with relaxation and wellbeing.
