Family Adventure Center Hopes to “Play It Forward” to Local Nonprofits

Cleveland, OH (PRUnderground) November 13, 2018

Adrenaline Monkey, Northeast Ohio’s new state-of-the-art indoor family adventure and performance training center, is looking forward to kicking off the season of giving by bringing awareness to its “Play It Forward” initiative, which will allow for nonprofits to fundraise money through the adventure center.

Each Thursday, one nonprofit will be able to host a fundraiser at the center at no cost and keep half of the contributions from the fundraiser. The initiative is an addition to the center’s current Thankful Thursday’s program, which honors military recruits, active duty military, nurses, veterans, and first responders by granting them 50% off of admission every Thursday. With #GivingTuesday, a global day giving, closely approaching on Nov. 27th, Adrenaline Monkey hopes that nonprofits will become aware and take advantage of its philanthropic efforts.

“Play it Forward is in line with our core values to empower others, encourage the underdog and evolve always,” said Founder and Owner, Denise Carkhuff “Customers pay to play, and we play it forward.  Our goal is to help a different charity or nonprofit every Thursday.”

The adventure center has already partnered with organizations such as, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the Northfield Elementary PTA and is currently partnering with Breakthrough Charter Schools.
