Matthew Sarkela served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1996 to 2001, where he learned the importance of discipline, structure, and leadership. After his time in the Marines, Matthew excelled in the business world, becoming a top-performing franchisee for Mr. Appliance. Following the sale of that business and planning for retirement, he found that he wasn’t ready to step away from entrepreneurship.

In 2022, Sarkela took on a new challenge by joining Dryer Vent Wizard, where his relentless drive led to rapid success. His achievements include being named Rookie Franchisee of the Year in 2021 and quickly rising to the top 10% of franchisees within the Dryer Vent Wizard system.
