Dr. Larry Kawa to Launch 1US.com to Combat Veterans Unemployment

Today Dr. Larry Kawa, President of Kawa Orthodontics in Boca Raton Florida, announced the launch of 1Us.com, a new website that helps US veterans find jobs.

The website has seperate portals for both employers and job seekers.  Its' tagline is Armed with Opportunity.

"I believe that all employers could benefit from having a veteran work at their place of business.  Our veterans are some of the hardest working, well trained members of the job market out there and there's no reason why we shouldn't help those who have provided the very blanket of freedom that protects us and enables us to live such a propserous and abundant life," said Dr. Larry Kawa who is the founder of 1Us.com.

In addition to 1US.com Dr. Kawa has been active with many other veterans charities and groups including the Freedom Alliance, which provides scholarships to the children of fallen military heores, and HireOurHeroes which hosts job fairs targets towards veterans.

For veteran job seekers, 1us.com provides a unique job seeker profile with a video resume feature.  The profile can be shared with potential employers.

Dr. Kawa further commented, "We felt that nothing makes a candidate come alive than to see them in living color.  The ability to upload a video resume will help the men and women of the military who have come home stand out more than any paper resume ever could."

Nationally, unemployment is on the decline with the most recent employment rate at 3.6 percent.  This has made it tougher for companies to find qualified candidates as most qualified people already have employment.

1US.com will make it easier for employers to find qualified candidates in a variety of industries including information technology (IT), Security, Marketing, Accounting, Computer Science, Marketing, and Transportation.
