Dr. Augusta Uwah to Speak at Telehealth USA 2026 in Anaheim

Dr. Augusta Uwah, MD, MPH, physician executive and founder of ClinEfficiency Pro, will speak at Telehealth USA 2026, taking place July 8–9, 2026, in Anaheim, California.

Her presentation, “After the Demo: Why Healthcare AI Fails in the Handoff to Reality,” will examine one of the most persistent challenges facing healthcare leaders: why AI tools that appear promising in demonstrations often fail to translate into durable clinical, operational, or financial value after implementation.

Dr. Uwah brings a dual perspective as both a practicing hospitalist and a healthcare AI builder. Drawing from her work in utilization review, payer policy intelligence, clinical documentation workflows, and hospital operations, she will discuss the real-world conditions that determine whether healthcare AI is adopted, trusted, scaled, or quietly abandoned.

“As healthcare organizations invest heavily in AI, the real question is no longer whether the technology can perform in a demo,” said Dr. Uwah. “The question is whether it can survive the handoff to the people, workflows, policies, and operational pressures of real healthcare delivery.”

At Telehealth USA 2026, Dr. Uwah will also participate in panel discussions on remote patient monitoring, personalized care, and virtual-first healthcare models. Her work focuses on helping healthcare organizations move beyond AI enthusiasm toward implementation strategies that are clinically credible, operationally realistic, and financially defensible.

This appearance is one of two major speaking engagements for Dr. Uwah in July. Later this month, she will speak at the Boss Doctors Conference in Miami, where she will continue addressing the intersection of medicine, healthcare AI, leadership, and operational transformation.
