Chloé Charody is an Australian composer and arts entrepreneur whose enchanting sound-world and unique productions have captivated audiences around the world for the last decade.

Chloé’s first circus opera The Carnival debuted on London’s West End in 2010, which then went on to play to sold out audiences across Europe, Australia and the UK for nearly 9 years. Circus Opera is a genre that Chloé has pioneered and in 2011 she opened The Berlin Circus Opera Lab to train up a generation of opera singers in aerial acrobatics to realise the full potential of this new genre.

Further highlights of Chloé’s career include two innovative ballet-operas for The Dutch National Ballet, a brave new musical Morning Blossoms that toured Holland in 2016 performed by The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra and her daring concerto for violin, fire and acrobatic-fire-spinning orchestra, Tale of The Firebird, which premiered for Sydney’s VIVID Festival in 2019.

Chloé’s upcoming productions include JINGAH! - a stage spectacular and animated feature film (co-written with Duncan Townsend) The Devil’s Tiger - a groundbreaking new circus opera, and a new fanfare commissioned by The Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

On Valentine’s Day this year, Chloé released her album for solo piano, Castle In The Sky, performed by Van-Anh Nguyen. The album is a collection of 10 new works that showcase Chloé’s distinctive impressionistic aesthetic.
