American Sentinel University Announces 2017 Spring Semester Dean’s List

American Sentinel University named 462 undergraduate students to the 2017 Spring Semester Dean’s List, which recognizes undergraduate students for academic excellence in the nursing and healthcare management programs.

Eligibility for the Dean’s List is based on the cumulative grade point average for all coursework of 3.9 or higher and a semester grade point average of 3.9 or higher for undergraduate students who started and completed two courses for the period of January through April 2017.

The 2017 Spring Dean’s List accounts for roughly 17 percent of American Sentinel’s active student population and includes undergraduates from the nursing and healthcare management programs.

“We’re proud of the students who have achieved the academic honor of being named to the 2017 Spring Dean’s List,” says Elaine Foster, Ph.D., MSN, RN, Dean of Nursing and Healthcare Programs at American Sentinel University.  “Each student will play a vital role meeting the needs of our economy and possesses the ability and skills necessary for improving healthcare.”

Dr. Foster says the classroom activities each student masters are meaningful and can be immediately applied directly to what students are doing at work to benefit the organization.

“We are gratified that so many of the University’s current students and graduates who have been honored on the Dean’s List are already making valuable contributions at some of the nation’s top hospitals and healthcare organizations and are focused on improving the health of our communities, says Dr. Foster

American Sentinel students and graduates work at more than 300 healthcare facilities and organizations throughout the U.S. including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Geisinger Health, Maury Regional Health, Spectrum Health, Centura Health and Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
