Today, WhosOnLocation and Brivo announce updates to an integration that will help organizations return to work amid a global pandemic. With a shared goal to protect everyone who enters their customers’ work sites, this partnership offers an incredibly useful solution to help businesses mitigate the risk COVID-19 poses.
“Since the beginning of 2020, we’ve seen our customers turn to us for help with problems they’d never even considered previously. The majority of requests have centered around contact tracing and touchless access” says WhosOnLocation CEO, Darren Whitaker-Barnett.
“We’ve continued to work behind the scenes on our Brivo integration since the beginning of our partnership back in early 2018. Our commitment to security has now come into its own, and we’re pleased to be in a position to help our valued customers achieve a new standard of safety in such a difficult time.”
Where Brivo provides cloud-based access control hardware and software, WhosOnLocation offers a cloud-based people presence solution, allowing organizations to account for all employees, service providers and visitors who are on-site and in their duty of care. Through a native integration, customers of both solutions are able to automatically update an employee’s status to on / off-site in WhosOnLocation as they unlock doors / gates / turnstiles to access their place of work with Brivo.
By automatically accounting for all employees as they enter and leave facilities, contact tracing in light of COVID-19 becomes much easier. WhosOnLocation customers can easily report on who was on-site the same day as an affected individual, and if they hosted visitors during the incubation period.
When using the Brivo Onair mobile app, touchless entry can be achieved as employees use their mobile phones to unlock doors. A visitor can also be uploaded into Brivo and synced with WhosOnLocation, so once their visitor pass has been printed, they can use it to access only the doors they’ll need. This works particularly well for facilities with locked doors between meeting rooms and entrances, as there’s no longer a need to borrow a host’s staff pass to access common areas like the restroom.
The WhosOnLocation and Brivo integration is available now to subscribers of both platforms. New to WhosOnLocation? Take a free 30 day trial today.
