Wellness Leader Ghylian Bell Brings Meditation & Healing to NYC’s Flatiron Area with Okayplayer

Ghylian Bell, the founder/director of the metropolitan New York-based Urban Yoga Foundation, is leading a weekly in-person vibrational sound meditation series with Okayplayer, the media platform launched several years ago by Questlove, co-founder of The Roots and of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon fame.
“PASSAGE: Live Guided Meditations with Okayplayer” is a weekly event taking place at the Fotografiska Museum in New York City’s Flatiron District on Friday evenings at 6 pm EST until March 19th 2021. Fotografiska is located at 281 Park Ave South, NYC.
Using music from the PASSAGE eight-song EP (extended play recording), Ghylian Bell is leading the weekly meditations which are divided into various themes – Grounding, Cleansing, Healing and Attuned. Andrew Morrow, whose resume includes the film, “I Am King”, “Homecoming – A Film by Beyonce” and “Lemonade”, created the visuals for PASSAGE and incorporates the music of which Ms. Bell is utilizing for the sound meditation series.
Ms. Bell, who launched the Urban Yoga Foundation in 2007, has guided many folks through her work in wellness, yoga and healing. Clients include entertainers such as Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter James Mtume (“Juicy Fruit”) and the late Cicely Tyson. In addition, she had partnered with the Ford Foundation and Harvard University to bring social emotional integrative wellness programs and global curriculum to at risk populations.
