Affectionately known in the industry as “Writazblok,” Marcus L. Henderson is a “pre-Grammy” award-winning music producer and songwriter from Quincy, Florida. His career began in 2010 by scoring a McDonald’s radio commercial as his first national placement. Henderson later signed the production team, 12NCollins, out of Miami, leading him to help the organization with several major projects. He has worked with various songwriters and up-coming-artists, most notably working with the R&B supergroup, SWV, on their Still album. His latest release, the single, “You Forgot to Luv Me” with Sukihana (Love & Hip-Hop Miami), is currently streaming on all platforms, skyrocketing to over 650k views on YouTube. Outside of the music industry, Henderson is also known to make cameos on the big screen. He was featured in the movie, Uncle Drew, and acted alongside Shaq in a JC Penny’s commercial. He is both a business owner and founder of The Music Industry Academy, LLC.
International mega producing powerhouse, Marcus “Church Boi” Askew, entered the industry in 2009 as a session musician to Grammy Award Winning writers and producers. His experience led to ghost producing on two Grammy-nominated albums and working with artists like Yung Joc, Day 26, Elle Varner, Jon B, Marsha Ambrosia, and Kehlani. Soon after, Askew teamed up with the super production team, UrbanRockStarz. He took a leap of faith moving to Los Angeles, California, where he garnered 150 television and film placements with major networks such as VH1, BET, and MTV, which included his work on the theme song for the hit TV show, R&B Divas LA. Askew continues to work with the industry’s top talent both in the studio and on stage as a global music director.
