London, UK (PRUnderground) April 19th, 2012
A new online resource has been introduced which will provide British theatre fans with a forum in which to exchange reviews and opinions of shows. WasThatGood.com will offer its users an honest and open platform to rate and read about all the country’s shows, from Phantom of the Opera through to Legally Blonde.
The new site will offer honest opinions and recommendations on the latest performances and will differ from current sites which are driven by advertisements. WasThatGood.com will host only show attendee feedback rather than agenda-driven pieces from journalists.
WasThatGood.com has been created by Robert Stuart, himself a theatre fan who had grown tired of reading dishonest reviews. WasThatGood.com will allow show fans to exchange opinions and read impartial reviews on shows at venues ranging from the Theatre Royal through to more niche venues around the country.
Robert Stuart said, “I felt sorry for theatre fans like myself who could not find genuine reviews around online – so I decided to launch WasThatGood.com. There have for too long been too many sites around which are not impartial or are full of adverts – I want theatre fans to be able to trust the reviews they read online.”
Many show fans have ceased their visits to the theatre due to financial constraints – and dishonest reviews can put them off further. WasThatGood.com intends to bring fans back to the theatre by delivering honest reviews from fellow fans.
Further to impartial reviews WasThatGood.com will offer details on show times as well as the chance to search shows by those highest-rated by fellow fans. Site users will also be able to enjoy a ticket-buying capability.

About WasThatGood.com
WasThatGood.com was born in an attempt to give the public a say in the world of theatre by offering an independent forum for them to share their opinions. The intent is to promote open discussion regarding the theatre, which could very well lead to improvement as theatres will have to face reality and will no longer be subject to only a handful of critics who have a channel to the public.
WasThatGood.com is giving the public a voice and theatres will now have an army of critics to contend with. The site is completely independent so users can be confident that what they read is truly the opinion of someone who saw the show and not simply another promotional tactic.
