The internationally renowned Frankfurt Motor Show opens to the public on 13th September and is a reminder of how cars are developing to our future needs. We will always need to protect our cars, and Warranty Wise can offer a Car Warranty to keep your car on the road in the future.
The show is an important event for car manufacturers as it is a showground for new ideas in the form of concept cars, as well as a place to unveil new production cars. For instance the last show in 2009 was host to the unveiling of an electric car from almost every manufacturer.
Key themes help to structure the car manufacturers in their delivery; 2007 was all about hybrid cars. For the 2011 show, which runs from 13th-25th September, the theme is ‘Future comes as standard’ so we can expect to see a variety of concept and production cars that will be attempting to bring the most practical, up-to-date technology and fuel systems to be the norm of every car for every driver.
Some of the cars already anticipated to be there include Audi’s two-seater Urban Concept car which is not based on any previous model, and Aston Martin’s new production car the Rapide which is their first four door car for years. The new Lamborghini Renton production car will blast the iconic shape of the Gallardo out of the water with its dynamic new design, which is slightly reminiscent of the Transformers movies. One of the concept cars to watch out for is the Peugeot BB1, which somehow manages to fit four people into a vehicle the size of a Smart car. It has motorcycle style handle bars instead of pedals so this one could really turn the car world upside down.
The new cars unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show are designed to bring the cars of the future to the mass public, but until then the cars we have now need to be protected. It’s important to keep your car functioning properly on the road so consider Car warranties from Warranty Wise to ensure your car doesn’t let you down in the future.
