One year after leaving his fulltime job as a Presenter and Producer with Network Ten, Scott had already executed large scale campaigns for clients such as the Commonwealth Games, China Tourism, Penfolds and the Australian Government.
With a Bachelor of Journalism and a Graduate Certificate in Positive Psychology, Scott is a true believer in following your dreams, your passions and seizing every opportunity with both hands. He is no stranger to hard work and is a driven and ambitious individual.
A Gold Coast native, Scott started from humble beginnings, creating his first business venture while at University. Immersing himself in personal development and psychology, specialising in PR and IR, Scott learnt the ins and outs of business by trying and failing:
“I think it is all about identifying what you truly want, developing yourself and your skills and putting yourself out there and taking that leap,” Scott says.
Scott has since founded a number of successful start-ups including Australia’s largest Marketing Agency for RTO’s, the Open-Ended Magazine and is currently the director of creative agency Mead Media, working with a number of local and international clients to help share their stories through online, TV and traditional content creation.
With his team of creatives, Scott has executed production and PR campaigns for clients such as The Commonwealth Games, China Tourism, Penfolds and the Australian Government.
As an accomplished journalist and TV personality, Scott has presented and produced the Logie nominated series Totally Wild on Network Ten and a travel show on Foxtel. Scott also hosted the weather live on Ten Eyewitness News, has hosted international documentaries and lifestyle series Open Ended, which was featured on Channel V and is a regular across national TV in China.
Scott has also shared his public speaking talents and personality at global events about media, entrepreneurship and positive psychology. He has also been host and emcee at a range of high profile live-events, including the Vogue Fashion Festival, The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal and international sporting events such as the Qinghai Lake International Cycling Race in China.
Despite only being midway through his 20s, Scott has accomplished a lot in his career but is by no means showing signs of resting on his laurels. Scott intends to aim his media pursuits even higher, always striving for positivity and innovation.
