If you choose an option where you stay seated in your wheelchair, which many prefer there are things to consider such as how well secure the chair is, visibility and the comfort of the ride.

The positioning of the passenger and wheelchair is very important, if not lowered to a level similar to the driver then the ride may be uncomfortable. You also want to be in a position on a level with the other passengers to make your ride more enjoyable in terms of communication.

These dimensions are very important to consider when looking at the entry height of a particular vehicle and its internal headroom.
