The Western Regional Diversity Conference Launches 72-Hour Crowdfunding Campaign to Secure Venue

Nonprofit organization Western Regional Diversity Conference has launched a crowdfunding campaign in an effort to help fund their inaugural conference this fall.

The Western Regional Diversity Conference (WRDC), the bustling non-profit out of Los Angeles has launched a crowdfunding campaign in an effort to help fund their inaugural conference this fall at the beautiful California Center for the Arts (CCA) in Escondido, CA.
Due to a last minute scheduling conflict with venue CCA, WRDC must raise $5,000 over the next 72 hours to secure the venue and dates for good. Thanks to donors, the WRDC has been able to make installments for funding the conference to date, but now help from the greater community in snow needed. The campaign is live on GoFundMe and be can found at https://www.gofundme.com/wrdc2017.
The tentative dates to host the inaugural conference is set for October 25th through the October 28th, 2017. The conference will include many networking opportunities, job fair, seminars and panel discussions centered around diversity and inclusion. Topics will include: Disparities for Minorities, LGBT Issues, Women in Business, Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities in the Workplace.
Featured panelists already include: Jace Hall, CEO of HD Films; Joy Donnell, CEO of Vanichi Magazine; Odest Riley, CEO of WLM Financial; and Peter Kim, Franchise Business Mogul, to name a few.
