The Digital Renaissance of Work: Delivering digital workplaces fit for the future by Paul Miller, CEO and Founder, Digital Workplace Group (DWG) and Elizabeth Marsh, DWG Director of Research, was published in November 2014 by Gower and has been shortlisted in the “Management Futures” award category. The CMI Management Book of the Year competition is organized by the Chartered Management Institute in association with the British Library and is sponsored by Henley Business School.
According to the judges: “We are looking for a book that has the potential to transform the effectiveness of working managers or equip students for future management roles.”
On hearing the news, thought leader and entrepreneur Paul Miller said: “Being shortlisted is a huge honour for Elizabeth and myself. Since its launch, the book has attracted both corporate and academic attention around the world. This exciting development adds further weight to our belief that work itself is being reimagined for the digital age.”
Elizabeth added: “In writing the book, Paul and I set out to inform those striving to grapple with the impact of digital inside organizations: giving them data, examples and tools from DWG’s research and benchmarking to be successful. Being on the CMI Management Book of the Year shortlist is an achievement we’re proud of and one that will hopefully highlight it to many more professionals.”
