The Deacon Kicks Off A Series Of Exclusive Cultural Experiences With Local Tastemakers, Leaders And Entertainers

The Deacon is a boutique hotel and event space that continues to offer guests something unique with the launch of Experiences at The Deacon, a series of interactive events for culture-enthused locals and out-of-town travelers. Whether it’s  for vacation or stay-cation, guests will socialize, explore new skills and foster creativity in unique, intimate gatherings with top local experts and influencers.

Set inside a renovated historic church in the Center City neighborhood of Philadelphia, this historical space mixes old and new with modern design features alongside the church’s original stained-glass windows and arched ceilings. With eight luxury suites, The Deacon is part hotel, part event space, part makers space and part work space, lending itself as the perfect backdrop for inspired events in culture and creativity. The events are broken into four main series: Taste x The Deacon, focusing on culinary concepts, Make x The Deacon, DIY and craft workshop events, Deacon Labs, centered around music and the arts, and Flourish x The Deacon, highlighting wellness and self care.

Utilizing a Cricut die-cut machine and a heat press, guests will be able to embellish a tote/tshirt with various vinyl designs in different colors and finishes.
