Voting for Emmy Nomination Consideration is underway for members of the Television Academy. The greatest honor in television achievements, Actor Anthony M Bertram is on the ballot for consideration for Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Debonet, an eccentric Vegas choreographer, on the TV Land original series, Lopez.
A select number of actors are accepted for consideration for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, including Anthony M Bertram, John Stamos, Dave Chappelle, Ray Liotta, Hugh Laurie and Danny Glover.
“I firmly believe in the transformative power of TV, film and theatre as a social, political, emotional force. It’s an honor to be considered by members of the Television Academy among such amazing talents,” said Bertram.
Anthony M. Bertram is a film and TV actor hailing from Queens, NY. As a New York native, he began acting professionally in theatre and local commercials at a young age, and went on to study at Stuart Rogers Studio, Stan Kirsch Studio, Tasha Smith Studio, Berg Studio and Lesly Kahn Studio. In addition to his role on Lopez, Anthony has appeared in film and TV shows such as Henry Danger on Nickelodeon, Training Day, Extant, Columbine Stories, Brooklyn Nine–Nine and Law and Order: SVU, as well as being accepted into the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2017 for his film A Brothers Prayers.
Anthony’s nomination consideration is for his role the Season 1 finale of Lopez, “George Goes All In”. “I’m very blessed to have the opportunity to work with the legendary comedian, George Lopez and the cast of Lopez.
