Roadside Rescue Towing Adds 5 Employees, 5 Trucks to Serve More Salt Lake City Suburbs

As Roadside Rescue scales to meet its goal of serving more of Utah’s Wasatch Front than any local towing company (and with faster response times), the company is growing its staff and fleet.

While there are plenty of tow truck companies in the Salt Lake City metro area, many of the suburbs along Utah’s Wasatch Front are underserved. Roadside Rescue is solving this problem as it expands its staff and towing fleet to serve the area from Weber County in the north to Utah County in the south.
“People are waiting too long for car lockout and towing services, and we want to change that,” said James Fullmer, President of Roadside Rescue. “With more drivers and dispatchers and more trucks, we can get to people faster, no matter where they are along the Wasatch Front.”
Fullmer said that the towing industry around Salt Lake City has been struggling to keep up with Utah’s population explosion. Beginning in 2020, census reports showed Utah as the third fastest-growing state. Between 2021 and 2022, the state’s population increased by more than 60,000 people, with much of the growth happening along Northern Utah’s Wasatch Front.
Roadside Rescue strategically planned its staff and equipment increases to get ahead of winter demand. “The last thing we want is for people to be stranded in their car or on the roadside during winter storms. Our expansion will allow us to respond immediately to Utah residents or visitors needing off road recovery, emergency towing services, vehicle lockout services, jump starts, and everything in between.”
