Richard Korhammer Joins Airex Inc. Board of Advisors

Airex, Inc. is proud to announce Richard Korhammer as a major addition to its Board of Advisors. Korhammer has over two decades of experience in building and growing financial technology businesses.

Korhammer’s career has spanned multiple roles, including various leadership positions, most notably co-founding in 1999 Lava Trading, a highly successful financial trading systems technology company, where he served as CEO and Chairman. Korhammer grew Lava Trading from inception until it was acquired in 2004 by Citigroup, where he became Managing Director and Head of Global Equities Electronic Execution.

Korhammer has played active roles in private equity, M&A, market data and trading technologies, OTC and exchange marketplace as well as accounts receivables, in both the U.S., and Australia, where he currently serves as Chairman of Yieldbroker PTY Limited, which operates the established electronic exchange for Australian interest rate securities and derivatives. He has received the New York Ten Award and has been named an Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year”.  He also has been awarded two financial technology-related patents.
