Norway’s Pro Ski Athlete Wins Rocket Mortgage Women’s Tour Event in Aspen Representing "Fastest Goggles on the Tour" – Revo
New York, NY (PRUnderground) March 1st, 2022
Revo, the global leader in high-quality performance sunglasses, proudly celebrates its brand ambassador Tuva Norbye as she makes a remarkable comeback to victory following her return out of retirement at the Rocket Mortgage Women’s Tour in Aspen. With 11 women competing, Norbye dominated every single head-to-head run while scoring the fastest start time against her opponents and landing a $10,000 check.
“We applaud Tuva and congratulate her on a successful winter run at this year’s riveting event,” said Revo CEO, Cliff Robinson. “It’s wonderful to see that athletes all over are enjoying Revo’s exceptional goggles as much as we do, and we thank them for representing Revo with such enthusiasm.”
Norbye took to social media with her success posting a photo of the winner’s check and a shout-out to Revo for the “fastest goggles on the tour.” Revo goggles have been a beloved necessity to skiers and other winter sports enthusiasts for their precision engineering, comfort, and contemporary styling.
In the race, Tuva Norbye took down Slovakian, Sona Moravcikova and Duluth-born, Katie Vesterstein in the semifinals. It was in the final round when Norbye met her match from University of Denver’s Galena Wardle, who arrived fresh off a pair of top 10 finishes in races in Canada. Norbye took the victory by mere thousandths of a second.
The women will return to the World Pro Ski Tour for the final leg of the season, the World Championships in Taos, NM, April 7-10.
