Mike is the founder of American Contingency, a nationwide network of Americans who gather together, provide mutual support and help each other hold onto the values that underpin the United States.
A former Green Beret, Mike saw first-hand in 2020 how political division could rapidly escalate into full blown conflict. His concern for his country led him to build a network of people who are prepared to respond and able to recover from difficult situations they, their families, or their communities may face.
Mike began his U.S. Army career as a guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He then spent 18 years in the U.S. Army, serving as a Sergeant Major in Special Forces and as a contractor, deploying multiple times to combat theaters. He has a bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and is an expert in Counter-Terrorism, Security, and Crisis Management Operations.
In 2015, after his military career, Mike founded Fieldcraft Survival, a company that educates, trains, and equips Americans to survive in a worst-case scenario.
Mike hosts the Fieldcraft Survival and Mike Force podcasts. He is an avid outdoorsman, overland enthusiast, traveler, and hunter and resides in Heber City, UT.
