Branding experts offer new way to create or revitalize a restaurant’s brand. Restaurant Branding Roadmap (RBR), an educational and support platform, will open its first class of the RBR Academy offering the restaurateur, bar, and hospitality market a digital e-learning course focused on hospitality brand building.
This 8-module, online course is specific to restaurants and the foodservice industry. The course will help students master how to develop a distinct brand resulting in top of mind visibility, attraction and retention of customers, and increased revenues. The curriculum addresses everything an operator needs to design and implement a strong brand, from research, to brand naming, to graphic brand identity, to delivery of a memorable, five sensory customer experiences.
The RBR Academy was conceived and developed by two veteran branding experts, Karen Post and Jocelyn Ring. Together, they have a combined 45 years of experience in the branding industry. They know branding and are passionate about the hospitality and restaurant industry. “Helping restaurant entrepreneurs and other foodservice professionals turn their dreams into reality is the reason RBR Academy was created,” says partner, Karen Post. “Today, to successfully compete in the noisy restaurant marketplace, operators need more than good food and friendly service staff; they need a brand that stands out and sticks in the minds of consumers.”

Tuition for the RBR Academy ranges from available $297 for self-serve edition or $497 for a premium package with personal coaching and group sessions. Annual scholarship will also be granted in partnership with various restaurant industry trade associations. All students have access to a private Facebook group for updates, discussion, and questions, as well as audio and script downloads, and discounts on other RBR products and services.
