Renaissance Ranch Rehab Earns Elite CARF® ASAM Certification, Meets Medicaid Standards

Renaissance Ranch is pleased to announce that it is one of just four drug treatment centers in Idaho to earn the prestigious CARF® ASAM Level of Care Certification for its detox and residential treatment programs. The rigorous certification is the only program approved by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) for substance abuse treatment centers and must be earned in order to serve patients with various insurance programs, including Medicaid.

Renaissance Ranch offers faith-based addiction recovery programs for men and women in Utah and Idaho. The prestigious CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation) ASAM certification can take years to complete but distinguishes the facility in the eyes of insurance companies, regulators, referral sources, and clients.

Renaissance Ranch earned certification at the 3.1, 3.5, and 3.7 levels of care. These levels are defined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and relate to varying levels of intensity in residential care. For example, the 3.1 level is clinically managed and low-intensity, requiring just 5 five hours of care per week for things like relapse management. The 3.7 level, on the other hand, is medically managed and high-intensity, serving those who need intensive medical or psychological monitoring around the clock.

The certification allows Renaissance Ranch to serve patients with Medicaid and other insurances with selective provider directories. Qualifying addiction recovery centers are vetted through on-site peer review processes, and the certification must be renewed every three years, demonstrating compliance with the current best practices. CARF ASAM-certified rehabilitation centers must meet a high bar for policies and procedures, medical record systems, staff development and education, and regulatory compliance.

Renaissance Ranch has both outpatient and residential treatment centers. They provide medically supervised detox as well as treatment through the faith-based 12-step program and intensive mental health services to address the issues that underlie addiction.
