Rehoboth House of Prayer Providing Hope, Dignity, and Renewed Confidence

Western New York 2021 award winner for Black Tie for Black History Difference Maker: 2020 Basileus Community Service award winner; Rehoboth House of Prayer Inc. with Senior Pastors Andrae and Sharifah Kamoche, has competed another year of serving the community, an honorable milestone.

Rehoboth House of Prayer; with their initiative Hope Steps, works to transform lives by providing hope, dignity, and renewed possibilities to individuals, families, and communities impacted by disasters or life challenges.  They have an esteemed history and mission of providing humanitarian, social aid and support, and religious services to people residing within Baltimore, Maryland, Buffalo, New York, and surrounding communities.

When a family struggles, a child under develops, or where society lacks you will find Hope Steps from Rehoboth House of Prayer, as they are committed to “disrupting the cycle of need”.   From March until November this church provided assistance to families and individual in need of food, clothing, shoes, toys, large and small appliances, furniture, household supplies and much more at their “God’s Treasure Chest” (Outdoor Church Service), Friday Community Movie Night, and Saturday’s Children’s Church in the parking lot of 881 Broadway Ave Buffalo, New York.

The 2021 partners that helped achieve another successful year of service for the community included Toys-for-Tots, James Desiderios Inc., Super Price Choppers, Back To Basics Outreach Ministries Inc., Mister Pizza Elmwood, Mandela Food Market, Beauty Supply Store, Prestige Supply Store, Walmart Supercenter Facility #2210 Amherst New York, Walmart Supercenter Facility #4597 North Tonawanda New York, Walmart Supercenter Facility #1909 Niagara Falls New York, Walmart Supercenter Facility #5027 Lancaster New York; and many private donors that came together to help make a difference.
