The Official Bat Mating Season

Manmade structures, like houses and other types of buildings, are a favorite roosting spot for bats. Outside of the mating season, under Florida law, it is permitted to exclude bats. However, in the state, it is illegal to harm or kill these animals.

Leave dead fronds on palm trees to provide alternative roosting spots
