Sacramento Speakers Series announced today that Paramount Farms International, LLC has agreed to sponsor the upcoming 2014-2015 season. This exciting season starts during Sacramento’s own Farm to Fork week with food pioneer Alice Waters speaking September 23, 2014. The series lineup also features former Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, world renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, television journalist Anderson Cooper, long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad and New York Times columnist David Brooks. Paramount Farms International, LLC will be recognized at the David Brooks engagement on April 7, 2015.
Managing principal and attorney Mitchell Ostwald describes the partnership as “an opportunity for Sacramento and series subscribers to connect with the world’s largest grower and processor of almonds and pistachios.” Paramount Farms International, LLC is a long standing contributor to the community through sustainability acts and a focus on education, health and arts.
