Packer’s Pine Soap Reports 50% YOY Sales Revenue Growth, Prompting Warehouse Move

For those who appreciate nature-based personal hygiene products with a rugged, outdoor scent, Packer’s Pine offers soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner made from pine tar. After an increase in sales supersized their operational needs, the company relocated their offices and warehouse to a large, state-of-the art warehouse in Libertyville, Illinois.

Packer’s Pine was previously located in Vernon Hills, Illinois, but when their natural soap product sales increased to the tune of a 50% year-over-year revenue increase, they moved to the larger Libertyville location with an eye to future growth.

The space, known as Warespace, is subdivided for different tenants, who share dock space, offices, forklifts, pallet jacks, a café, gym, and recreation room.

While demand for the company’s original product, pine tar soap, continues to grow, a healthy portion of the company’s recent gains have come from two new, high-demand products: body wash and hair conditioner (to accompany the company’s previously released pine tar shampoo).

As consumers prioritize clean, natural ingredients for their personal care regimen, Packer’s Pine offers sulfate-free, paraben-free products. Their premier ingredient, pine tar, is a by-product of distilled, carbonized pine wood and has been used for 2,000 years for its antiseptic properties as well as its ability to soothe skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dandruff.
