OREOLogic Recruits Medical Device Veteran to Lead Hospital Integrated Solutions for Enterprise Video

OREOLogic has announced that Harry Getz will join the team, as Director of Enterprise Solutions. Getz will work with manufacturers, hospital administrators, IT departments, surgeons and staff to support hospital migration toward enterprise video solutions.

“Integrated video has become the standard, which is used in everyday clinical settings. Without dedicated personnel, hospitals are reliant on vendors and product resellers to bring together complex solutions. While a vendor may provide an excellent stand-alone product, the expertise for integrating with products of other vendors may be limited”, says Getz. Adding, “The Integrated Operating Room provides an example, where proper interconnectivity with products of other vendors is vital. Unfortunately, a simple update to one product often causes system failure, which can disrupt patient flow, as a result of the room going offline.  All too often, hospitals find themselves in the middle, as vendors attempt to sort out where the responsibility lies for a given problem”.
