London, United Kingdom (PRUnderground) August 26th, 2024

Musical U announced today the forthcoming release of a new book entitled Musicality, designed to be an indispensable companion for any budding music learner who wants to tap into their natural talent for music.

Established in 2009, the London-based company has made a name for itself among music learners for specialising not in the instrument skills which most websites teach, but instead on the “inner skills” of music. These include playing by ear (without the need for sheet music), improvising creatively, jamming with other musicians, performing with confidence, singing in tune, and having a great sense of rhythm.

Many of these skills are generally assumed to require an innate talent, but Musical U has pioneered methods which make it fast and easy for anybody to learn them. Their methodology also leverages the latest scientifically-proven “superlearning” techniques which allow a musician to progress up to 10 times faster than normal with each practice session.

Musical U provides online training for adult music learners, rated an average of 4.8 stars out of 5 in public Google Reviews, and their methods have been used successfully by over 30,000 musicians around the world over the last 14 years. Their products and methods have previously been featured in the New York Times, Classic FM and Total Guitar magazine.

With the new book, Musical U aims to bring these remarkable methods into the hands of any music learner who is eager to reach their full potential, but feels disappointed with the results they’ve achieved with traditional lessons, online courses and memberships.

“This is the ‘missing manual’ I wish I had been handed on day one of learning music, over 30 years ago,” commented Christopher Sutton, Director of Musical U. “We’ve packed it with every explanation, method and technique we’ve proven can unlock true natural musicality for absolutely anybody.”

Sutton is a graduate of Cambridge University, U.K., and the Centre for Digital Music, Queen Mary, University of London. He founded Musical U in 2009 after finding the traditional “ear training” methods for musicians powerful but frustratingly hard to use. He has written for Making Music Magazine and Total Guitar magazine, as well as appearing frequently as a guest on music education podcasts. He is the primary author of Musicality which also features contributions from the rest of Musical U’s team of experienced music educators.

Musicality will be released to the public on Monday, 23rd September, 2024. More information and preorders are now available at MusicalityBook.com.
