About
YWCA South Florida is a leading voice for women, girls, and all marginalized individuals across South Florida. Founded in 1920, the YWCA offers programs and services in economic empowerment, personal and family wellness, early education, and youth development, seeking to eliminate the social justice issues that disproportionately affect women and people of color. YWCA supports women’s empowerment and economic advancement with a particular focus on the reality of the way race impacts women’s economic opportunities. YWCA’s Economic Prosperity programs take a multipronged approach to cover economics from all angles, including job training, financial literacy, salary negotiation, and leadership development, to serve hundreds of women in South Florida.
