Founded by Ali Reza Farahnakian in 2002, The PIT is an award-winning performance space & school dedicated to the instruction, performance, and development of original comedy – receiving the title of “NY’s Best Improv Classes” from New York Magazine and “Best Comedy Club” from The Village Voice. The PIT strives to entertain and educate the community about the comedic arts in a safe, nurturing, and accessible environment.
