Lucy and the Lake Monster

Lucy and the Lake Monster is a new children’s book series and upcoming movie teaching children how to overcome trauma, grief, and bullying while highlighting the legend of North America’s most notorious lake monster “Champ”. Written by Crown Point, New York native Kelly Tabor, and LA-based Academy-Award considered filmmaker Richard Rossi, Lucy, and the Lake Monster tells the story of a nine-year-old orphan girl and her grandpa searching for \"Champ\" the sea serpent that lives in Lake Champlain, at the border of New York and Vermont. The heartwarming story illustrates the paradigm between holding an innocence and childlike faith while facing life’s greatest questions and challenges. The book will be released in the Fall of 2022, and the film Lucy and the Lake Monster will begin production July, 2022 and is expected to be complete early 2023.
