New York City Photo Safari is set to launch a new series of Holiday Bootcamp Safari’s. Beginning in November, NYCPS will take to the streets with tourists and locals alike to capture the full sights and sounds of holiday merriment throughout Manhattan while teaching photography basics.
This newly released bootcamp will feature 2.5 days of photography to include an introductory “nuts and bolts” segment, followed by an evening session focused on seasonal lighting and décor. Day 2 will have participants discovering many of Manhattans’ iconic structures to include Grand Central Terminal, Radio City Music Hall, Times Square and The Empire State Building complete in holiday dressing. Day 3 will feature a morning exploration of Central Park and it’s unique winter trappings.
“Everyone loves photographing the city during the holidays.” Says Zim Pham, Lead Instructor with NYCPS. “The new holiday bootcamp allows participants to take home some amazing images while giving them enough free time to also enjoy all the city has to offer such as, shopping, taking in a show, or going out to dinner. “
Participating adventurers who register for the weekend can come armed with any type of equipment from a smart phone or tablet to professional gear. A team of professional photographers at NYCPS will lead the weekend of holiday memory making.
