New Free "Coping with Grief" App With Latest Tech For Dealing with Death & Loss During The Holidays

The new free all-in-one “Coping with Grief” mobile app was designed and developed by a team of volunteers from the non-profit My Grief Angels. The app is the second mobile app launched by the online grief support nonprofit after their first award winning app launched in 2015.

As of today, the newly launched app is already #71 in Amazon Best Seller in Self Improvement – Top 100 Free Apps list.

According to Statista, over 3 billion people, approximately 43% of the world population, have smartphones in 2019. In the United States alone, a recent Pew Research Center study found that the share of Americans who own smartphones is 81% and the smartphone penetration among adults 50 – 64 is 79% and 53% in adults 65+.

This holiday season in the United States alone:

Smartphones’ mobile apps provide the largest global access for free grief support apps like My Grief Angels’ “Coping with Grief” to reach grieving populations worldwide and are uniquely effective in reaching older adults in the United States, a particularly vulnerable grieving population during the Holidays.

In a 2.5 year period, one study found that over 70% of older adults experience bereavement from the loss of spouse, siblings, relatives and friends, and during the holiday season – those losses become more visible.
