Mae Brown’s Kidneys 4 Kids will be hosting an upcoming basketball tournament fundraiser, and all of the proceeds from the event will go directly toward Children’s Medical Center’s Renal and Kidney Division to support the advancement of kidney research.
Through his organization, Johnson works to educate the public about renal disease and how to prevent it. Mae Brown’s Kidneys 4 Kids also works to help children with kidney problems get the funding needed for treatment, and the organization even helps facilitate being placed on the kidney transplant list.
Mae Brown’s Kidneys 4 Kids 1st Annual 3-on-3 Fundraising Basketball Tournament will be held on Saturday July 1, 2017, from 9am – 3pm. Registration will be held from 8am – 9am on the same day. The event will feature three leagues: ladies (ages 16 and up); men’s (ages 16-20); and men’s (ages 21 and up). The cost will be $30 per team.
General admission to the event will be $4; admission for kids 12 and under will be $2. All proceeds will go directly to the Renal and Kidney Division at Children’s Medical Center.
