The huge rivalry game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys has a lot riding on it this year – especially for a young man injured in a pool accident earlier this summer. Prior to the game, a group of NY Giants fans will host a tailgate with the famous “FANVAN” with proceeds going to Tommy McGuire to help offset his medical expenses associated with his injury. McGuire was an all-section quarterback for his high school team and the community and fellow football players have rallied around his recovery.
“We’re proud to be able to support the continued efforts to get Tommy better,” said Joe Ruback, better known as “License Plate Guy,” the Giants biggest fan. Ruback comes from the same neighborhood as McGuire.
Together with Joe (License Plate Guy) Ruback, Chef Gregory Adams (from the Food Channel & Creator of the 20″ BIG DAWG), Craig Rosenberg (Teacher and Athletic Coach) and the entire FANVAN crew, Lot G-16 will come to life to help a fellow football player.

About License Plate Guy Joe Ruback
Joe Ruback, better known as License Plate Guy, is an iconic New York Giants fan – best known for the lanyard of NY Giant license plates he wears around his neck at each game. When he’s not hanging out, taking pictures with fellow Giant’s fans outside the stadium, Ruback is the Athletic Director at the Biondi School in Yonkers, New York.
