The leading genealogist firm Finders is acting as the official sponsors of the prestigious 2010 Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) Annual Awards, which take place in London this Thursday 9th September.
Established in 2009 to recognise and reward women solicitors who have contributed outstanding work in their field, the AWS is proud to announce the introduction of a new category, to recognise the achievements of women working within the field of probate practice.
The AWS will recognise and reward outstanding talent in the following categories:
- Best Woman Solicitor Managing a Probate Practice
- Best Woman Solicitor Managing a Large Practice
- Best Woman Solicitor Managing a Medium-sized Practice
- Best Woman Solicitor Managing a Small Practice
- Best Woman Solicitor Managing a Legal Aid Practice
- Best Woman Solicitor Managing an In-House Team
- Best Woman Solicitor Retaining and Developing Legal Talent
The awards celebrate women solicitors who strive for best practice regardless of age or status, and who will inspire other woman to demand the best of themselves and their profession. Finders is fully committed to supporting the goals of the AWS and recognizes the important role that women make as leading practitioners in legal services.
The award ceremony takes place 6pm at The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London.
The winner of each category will be selected as nominees for the high profile Association of Women Solicitors/ Legal Business Woman of the Year Award 2010, to be presented at The Law Society Excellence Awards on 21st October.
