Attorney Don Tingey has surpassed 50 years at the head of one of Nevada’s oldest law practices — Tingey Injury Law Firm. The award winning attorney has helped tens of thousands of Las Vegas residents stand up to Big Insurance and get proper compensation for their accident injuries.

While Tingey was earning his law degree at George Washington University, he and his wife had five of their 12 children. To support his growing family, Tingey took a job at an insurance firm. His work there fueled his desire to advocate for accident victims as an accident injury lawyer.

After law school, Tingey returned to his roots in the West and opened Tingey Injury Law Firm in Las Vegas. He continues to practice law there over 50 years later, making him one of Nevada’s longest serving attorneys. He’s also one of the most respected members of the state’s legal community, having been awarded the 2017 Nevada Justice Association Lifetime Achievement Award. He was also honored with the Nevada Trial Lawyer Association’s Badger Award for “going above and beyond the call of duty.”
